Anaconda Melville

Took my recently online purchased bike into Cannington store yesterday to sort out a minor issue, totally unhelpful. Went the the Melville store today, went above and beyond to help me out, very happy.

Wanted to purchase a bike for Christmas for my son. Only the one on the floor left. Staff member found out I could purchase after not knowing, but I still had to pay full price listed and $30 build fee. No discount for it being the last bike left that many people had looked at. They needed to do a safety check before releasing bike & said they would call me when done. I called at 3:30pm (originally came at 10am) as I needed to arrange collection with family member and needed to know a rough time. Staff member I spoke to couldn't tell me when the person checking it would do so, didn't know when they finish for the day. Just said they are open till 9pm and that I could always pick up tomorrow if it's not done today. I still needed to know a time to let family member know and have a plan in place. Repeatedly asked for a time estimate for collection, staff member said Well

Received fantastic service recently (4/1/23 about 2pm) when returning multiple items purchased online that were not suitable sizes.The gent serving me checked several times with their line manager in order to be able to provide a refund rather than a credit.I'll be sure to spend the refund in this store, they are all a great team. Really enjoy shopping at Anaconda.

I went there today, I liked the shop. There is a lot of variety, reasonable prices, and good specials. However, my shopping experience was ruined, when the Asian girl with coloured contacts in the cash register gave us an attitude; she obviously hates dealing with people and made us feel like we were stupid. I think you need a better system to select your employees. What could be a 5 star review, it is a one star only because of one person. All the effort of a team went to the trash.

I couldn't thank the staff at Anaconda enough last night, we were looking at getting quality tents, sleeping bags and camping chairs to send to Turkey/Syria as they are facing great difficulty following the earthquake catastrophe in -4 degree temperatures.Dom and Kyra (inc. managers) were finding ways to help as best as they could so we were able to make the most effective donation possible. They were even kind enough to help pack our small cars and get recycled boxes to drop off at our charity event.The Turkish community and I are extremely grateful for all of your efforts. I found the right product but felt Customer Service was lacking in terms of both response, assistance and final clearance of the products I bought -- stricter mature supervision is needed in this store... but otherwise Anaconda have a great competitive range of products.

Great service from Mariah in the footwear section of Anaconda Melville over Easter - two visits and both delightful with Mariah going above and beyond - showing the way about how customer service should be - personal, responsive, follow up and resolution. Thanks so much!

Disgusting team leaders who are not even managersSpent $700 dollars on a Garmin device used no more than 5x take back as wasn’t holding charge while using this device is used for safety out in bush for emergency there customer service is awful then threatened with police if I don’t leave store which is open to public because silly team leader has no idea what they both doing one called jack and don’t know female name but wow I think team leader authority gone to there head have to make another visit back to store face a manger nowWon’t exchange won’t refundOnly option is repair which is weeksJust spent $1000 in store on the weekend and that’s how you get treated guess I’ll bring my stuff back as wellNo mangers on site as she’s gone home to collect kids was in store 3pm and nobody to assistTeam leaders need to be sacked threshing the public who’s spent money on store because he’s useless

Spent $$$$ here preparing for Kokoda, wanted to exchange some things for more expensive product including a larger pocket towel and a better pillow. Nothing was used, but had been opened to check the quality of product as you can’t open them with out removing tags.Lady at the front counter refused the exchange of refund. Claiming they can’t be resold. This despite the fact that one of the items I was holding had been opened in store and had no tag on it and hundreds of items in the store being in the same condition post Easter sales. Pretty poor.

Customer service was disgraceful! My 14 year old daughter was picking up and order of fishing crocs for her grandad for christmas and the boy at the register decided to tell her “you ain’t got no drip” and laughed…pretty much saying her taste in shoes was bad…they also initially got the size wrong on her order and were rude when we asked to change…asked her for ID and laughed when she said she had her school ID on her smart rider…she is in tears as she struggles with social anxiety and feels humiliated…something needs to be done about this boy…
